What is AQIP?
AQIP stands for the Academic Quality
Improvement Program. AQIP is structured around quality improvement
principles and processes. As an AQIP college we are involved in a
structured set of activities around goal-setting, networking, and
accountability. In a seven year period we are engaged in all AQIP
processes:
Strategy Forum, Annual Updates,Systems Portfolioappraisals and visit by the U.S. Department of Education for compliance
issues.
What is AQIP's relationship to the Higher Learning
Commission? AQIP is the process Columbus State
will use to renew our accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission.
AQIP 9 Categoriesrepresent key systems of the
college and must be addressed in the documentation that we provide to
AQIP in the Systems Portfolio. AQIP also recognizes the need to adhere
to principles for high performing institutions
