In-Person Tutoring:

Tutoring is available at our Columbus and Delaware Campuses and at the Dublin Regional Learning Center.

Appointments, all subjects: One-to-one and small group (2 - 3 students) in-person tutoring is available by appointment for the subjects listed on the Tutoring Directory below. How to schedule an appointment:

• Schedule through this website. Find the subject on the list of subjects below and select the preferred campus or regional learning center. Click the blue "Schedule Appointment" button in the upper left to see all appointment times or click on a tutor's name to see that tutor's availability. Follow the prompts to schedule.
• Schedule through Blackboard: Log in to Blackboard, select "Tools" from the menu column on the left, select the box labeled "Tutoring: In-person (CSCC)," and then follow the steps for scheduling through this website. 
• Call or visit the Tutoring Center. For questions or assistance with scheduling, call 614-287-3952 or stop by the Tutoring Center on the Columus campus in the Library, room 103, during open hours (see hours at the top of this page).
• Appointment limit per day: To ensure that all students have an opportunity to schedule meetings with tutors, students may make one appointment per subject per day. Students may have more than one appointment per day if all of the appointments are for different subjects or distinct courses. Students with documented learning accommodations may call the Tutoring Center at 614-287-3952 or stop by the office in the Columbus campus library, CO 103, to arrange extended meeting time if needed. 
• No-show/Cancelation policy: If students must cancel an appointment, they should cancel through their calendars or contact the Tutoring Center at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment when possible. If a student misses three or more scheduled appointments without canceling or notifying the Tutoring Center (a “no-show”), any future appointments may be canceled, and the student will be asked to schedule subsequent appointments in person if they wish to continue meeting with tutors. This practice respects the tutors’ time and helps to ensure that as many appointment hours as possible are available to all students who wish to work with tutors.

Drop-Ins, all subjects-- No appointment needed: In-person drop-in meetings are available without appointments on a first-come, first-served basis when tutors have open times. Follow the links in the list of subjects below to see tutors' hours or visit the Tutoring Center in the library (CO 103) on the Columbus campus or in Moeller Hall on the Delaware campus.

Small-group sessions, all subjects: Tutors can meet with a few students from the same class in shared small-group sessions. Students can pre-arrange a small group meeting or visit the Tutoring Center in the library (CO 103) [Columbus campus] or the tutoring area in Moeller Hall [Delaware campus] to see if small groups are in session.

Quick Drop-In Math Lab, College Algebra & above + Statistics: (Columbus campus, Library, CO 105):  Students can visit the quick drop-in Math Lab for short 15-20 minute consultations with a math or statistics tutor, no appointment needed. Jump to: Math Tutoring

Online Tutoring

Virtual tutoring through NetTutor is available for Writing and Mathematics 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and for other subjects at various times throughout the week, including, in many subjects, evenings and weekends. Students can meet live with a tutor or submit a question and receive an answer after a short waiting period.

To access NetTutor, log in to Blackboard, select "Tools" from the menu on the left of the screen, and choose "Tutoring: Virtual (NetTutor)."

Peer Learning Success Leaders

Our Peer Learning Success Leaders (PLSL) provide tutoring and academic skills coaching in one-to-one scheduled and drop-in appointments and small group meetings. PLSLs' hours are included in the calendars for the subjects listed in the table above.
