Sustainability at Columbus State

Columbus State is focused on becoming a more sustainable campus.  We have purchased several cardboard balers that are being used across campus for more efficient transport to recycling centers.  We have transformed wood pallets into useable items such as bird houses and over the past several years, we’ve replaced over 60 of our standard drinking fountains with water bottle refill stations. These bottle fillers can replace hundreds of single-use plastic water bottles over their lifetimes.

More to come…

Water Refill Stations
