USO Talent Development Network is a state-wide workforce development system facilitated through Ohio’s public Two-Year Colleges and Adult Career Centers. USO TDN members offer products and service through a variety of “Best in Class” nationally and internationally recognized human capital development firms to provide integrated talent management services to employers and individuals at an affordable cost. There are over 900 Assessments available through the participating vendor partners allowing the Testing & Talent Assessment Center to support employers with the targeted tools to address the full range of Talent Management needs from Screening, Selection, Training, Development, and Succession Planning for their organizational performance and workforce development. Assessments and Talent Acquisition – Solutions to Evaluate, Select, and Develop the right people
Candidate/Employee Screening: Criminal, Verifications, Social Security Trace, Employment Credit Reports, Motor Vehicle Records Search, Investigative Searches, Workers Compensation, Drug Screening, I-9 Processing, etc.
Pre-Hire Selection: Identifying the best candidate using industry-focused assessments that identify preferred Work Style, Personality/Behavioral, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. A wide variety of instruments that reveal a candidate’s attributes, skills, competencies and performance to provide insight into the potential for success on the job.
Assessments of Knowledge and Technical Skills: Evaluation tools that can identify candidate’s strength and weaknesses in relation to a targeted knowledge area or skill set. Job Profiling/Job-Person Matching: A process providing a job analysis based on tasks, work context, behaviors, attributes and competencies. It provides the framework for the pre-hire or promotion selection process by providing a comprehensive job description, behavioral interview questions, key competencies of the job, and targeted assessments to use to match the candidate to the job.
Performance Management: Employee appraisal systems and tools to identify performance strengths and development needs, competency development, development plans, and succession planning.

USO TDN member schools throughout the state administer tests that lead to NCRC credential which verifies that an individual has essential core employability skills in Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information.
