The Community Education and Workforce Development Division provides education and training opportunities for businesses and individuals. Serving the full spectrum of workforce development—from current employees, to the unemployed, underemployed, or individuals wanting to change careers—we offer a variety of programs designed to meet your needs.
The Center for Workforce Development partners with the community to address workforce and economic development needs through innovative approaches to continuing education, career counseling, talent development, customized training, industry sector strategy, organizational performance, business consulting, entrepreneurial development, and anything else your business may need.
The Transitional Workforce Department provides courses for individuals who want to gain the skills needed to enter, re-enter, or advance in the workforce. You can take advantage of language instruction, GED preparation, continuing education and more!
The Columbus State Conference Center features spaces with plenty of natural light, as well as all-inclusive pricing for audio-visual, wireless internet access, and technical and professional support. Backed by a stunning view of downtown Columbus, the Conference Center is an ideal venue for a corporate meeting or seminar.
