Keck named Disability Services advisor
Christopher Keck has been hired as Disability Services advisor in the Office of Disability Services. Keck previously worked in Disability Services at Ohio State University and was one of five counselors in the office responsible for serving over 2000 students with diagnosed disabilities and determining appropriate academic accommodations.
Keck has been a liaison with students, parents, faculty and staff and will provide disability awareness training campus-wide. He serves on various committees and is an active collaborator to community agencies such as the Rehabilitation Services Commission and the Veterans Administration. He recently was appointed to the Board of Directors of OH-AHEAD, a new regional affiliate of the Association of Higher Education and Disability.
“Christopher’s experience and professionalism will bring additional dimensions to our office as he has expertise in providing services that ensure accessibility and inclusion, as well as exploring other opportunities for inclusion within the campus and community,” said Tiffany McClain, interim director of Disability Services.
