First Wednesday meeting to be held Nov. 13

Migration of email messages begins Nov. 15

logoInformation Technology will begin migrating (moving) Groupwise email messages into the new Microsoft Outlook (Office 365) accounts beginning Friday, November 15.  Because the full migration will not be completed until after the holiday break (January 2), messages that you delete from Groupwise after November 15 may reappear in your new Office 365/Outlook account after the break.  You will simply have to delete them again.

Appointments and tasks will be copied in late December to avoid multiple instances of moved or deleted appointments from showing up in the new Office 365/Outlook accounts. Need more information about the new Office 365?  Find it online here.

goal pennantVolunteers needed for “College Goal Sunday” in Feb.

Columbus State will again serve as a College Goal Sunday site.  The College Goal Sunday workshop will be held on Sunday, February 9, in Davidson Hall on the Columbus Campus.

The state of Ohio is working to increase the number of students pursuing a college degree. Many families believe they cannot afford a college education. By helping families complete the FAFSA application on College Goal Sunday, we will help eliminate barriers to pursuing an education. Please consider volunteering to help with this event in February. You need not be a financial aid expert to help out. Training will be provided and you will be able to volunteer to work with experts as necessary.  You can sign up here: http://www.ohiocollegegoalsunday.org/
