Commissioners plan to commemorate September 11
Franklin County Commissioners Marilyn Brown, President Paula Brooks, and John O’Grady have created an event to commemorate September 11, 2001 on the tenth anniversary during the National Moment of Remembrance adopted by the United States Senate.
They ask that we join in the Moment of Remembrance on Sunday, September 11, 2011 beginning at 1 p.m. Local first responders, police and fire in cities and townships throughout our county are asked to sound their sirens and ring their bells for one minute to remember those lives lost and changed forever. For more information about the National Moment of Remembrance, you can go online to: www.FranklinCountyOhio.gov/NeverForget.
