CCI students arrive from Egypt, Pakistan

Six students arrived from Egypt and Pakistan August 25 to live in Columbus and enroll at Columbus State for a year as part of the Community College Initiative (CCI) program. ITDL seminar:
The Digital Lifestyle Series: Accessible Web Video Production for Everyone
This is the second seminar in a ITDL series about how you can integrate existing and emerging technologies into your day-to-day life, both on and off campus. Have you ever wanted to post your own digital creation to YouTube? Are you curious about what it really takes to produce and publish online video content? Join us for this hands-on technology session and explore the process of shooting, downloading, and posting videos to the Internet with the latest Flip and Vado point-and-shoot camcorders.

	Fee Waiver deadline The deadline for Employee/Dependent Fee Waivers for Autumn Quarter 2010 is Tuesday, September 14. A Request for Fee Waiver form must be turned in to Human Resources by 4:30 p.m. on that date to guarantee that fee waivers will be processed before late fees are assessed. You may also first pay your fees and be reimbursed within 30 days from the start of the quarter by completing the Request for Fee Waiver form and submitting an official payment receipt  to Human Resources by October 22. Reminder: Two concerts this week!
The Columbus State Woodwind Ensemble will perform its quarterly concert on Tuesday, August 31, at 4:30 p.m. in the TL 123 Music Room. And on Tuesday, August 31, the Columbus State Jazz Ensemble will hold an open rehearsal between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. in TL 123. The group will perform the repertoire they are preparing for their performance at Taste the Future, September 14.
