Renovations to ERC underway this spring

Security fencing has gone up around the entrance to the ERC as Phase 1 of the renovation to the Library begins. The renovation will reroute the main entrance around to the ramp down to the lower level, and add an amphitheatre-like seating area to the slope that surrounds the entrance. The 19 stone benches that lined the mall will be relocated, and new landscaping and stairs will be installed. Phase 2 will begin in June to update the interior study spaces. A general contractor has not yet been selected for the work, so no completion date is set.

2010 Data Handbook now online
The “2010 Columbus State Data Handbook,” published annually by the Knowledge Resources and Planning Office, is now available on the Columbus State website. On the CSCC homepage, click on “About Columbus State,” then “Accreditation Information,” and then click on “Data Handbook.” Or go to the following address to view: http://cscc.edu/About/facts/csccdatahandbook.pdf
The Data Handbook contains a wealth of current and three-year autumn trend information on many factors, including student enrollment, student characteristics, and financial and human resources of the college. Most of the statistics were obtained from the Ohio Board of Regents Higher Education (HEI) System. This allows for a consistent data set every year and comparability with other Ohio public institutions.
