aqip logoAQIP Projects sent to AQIP/Higher Learning Commission
Columbus State’s four AQIP Action Project teams recently submitted their yearly reports to the AQIP/Higher Learning Commission. To view these reports in their entirety, go to the AQIP website www.aqip.org and select “Action Project Directory.” From there you can select “Columbus State” from the institutional drop down menu to view college reports. Columbus State will be receiving feedback about these projects from AQIP Peer Reviewers in November.

Type 2 Diabetes study to be conducted by OSUphoto of blood sugar testThe Department of Human Nutrition at Ohio State is recruiting men and women with Type 2 Diabetes to participate in the a Glycemic Index, Opportunities and Lifestyle (GOAL) study to help understand the effects of low glycemic index foods on diabetes management.  The 14-week study includes five weeks of nutrition education and nine weeks of monitoring.  Meals and on-campus parking will be provided.  You may be eligible if you have a physician's diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes, are age 40-65 and do not take insulin.  Please call (614)292-4772 or email goalstudy@hotmail.com for more information.
