The Heart of Ohio Tech Prep Consortium is a partnership of high schools, career centers, colleges and business/industry in Central Ohio. Over 1300 students are enrolled at high schools and career centers in Clark, Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Ross Counties.

Over two-thirds of Tech Prep students go on to a college or university within a year of high school graduation, many at one of the consortium's partner colleges - Central Ohio Technical College, Columbus State Community College, Ohio University Chillicothe, and Ohio University Lancaster. An opportunity for electrical technology students links them to apprenticeships with The Electrical Trades Center.
