What is The Heart of Ohio Tech Prep Consortium?

College Tech Prep programs combine hands-on, work related technical learning with college preparatory academics.

College Tech Prep programs begin in the 11th grade and continue through completion of an associate degree or higher. After high school graduation, successful Tech Prep students are ready to attend a two or four-year college or university or certificate awarding program.

College Tech Prep students can learn technical work skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively alone or in teams. In other words, they have what it takes to begin successful careers in Ohio's technology-related workforce.
