Adrien Cavin graduated June 8 with a degree in Technical Communication. Here, he tells his Columbus State story in his own words.
It took me about three and a half years to finish, but I am finishing!
At first, I didn't think college was for me, and it was very challenging. But I stuck with it and took it slowly, and the professors were extremely helpful.
Columbus State gave me a first-rate quality of education, and it also molded me into a better person. I recommend Columbus State highly. The education is inexpensive, but it is definitely not cheap!
In the process of obtaining my degree, I matured mentally, emotionally, socially, and financially. I appreciate everyone who has played a vital role in my journey. The labs were accessible, professors were responsive, and the classes were challenging yet feasible.
My next goal: I plan to complete an eleven-month stint with AmeriCorps, and then attend school to become a barber.
