Residency Status for In-State Tuition Purposes

If a student is designated as an out-of-state resident, he or she may qualify for in-state residency by meeting certain qualifications.  The process to determine in-state residency for tuition purposes is very detailed and lengthy.  The application must be completed, documentation submitted and residency determination approved prior to the first day of the academic term for which the student desires reclassification to be effective.

The deadlines to apply for in-state residency are:

Winter Quarter 2009   January 5, 2009
Spring Quarter 2009   March 20, 2009
Summer Quarter 2009   June 29, 2009
Autumn Quarter 2009  September 23, 2009
Winter Quarter 2010   January 4, 2010
Spring Quarter 2010   March 29, 2010
Summer Quarter 2010   June 28, 2010
Autumn Quarter 2010   September 22, 2010
