In an industry as fast-paced and ever-changing as logistics, getting the necessary information to be productive can be a challenge. Entering a new business arena such as exporting or importing can be overwhelming.

Project EAGLE includes several options designed to provide the most current technical and practical information required by today’s logistics professionals.

Certificates in global trade, purchasing and logistics. With afocus on one particular area of logistics, these certificates are designed for those who are new to the field and want to establish a solid foundation or those needing a refresher. Certificates are available with a focus in general logistics, global trade and purchasing. Each can be completed in one year or less and all of the courses can be taken online.

The Global Trade Certificate is designed to provide students to take the NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) Exam. This exam is designed to test competence in various areas of global business including management, marketing, supply chain management and finance. More information about NASBITE and the CGBP exam is available at www.nasbitecgbp.org.

Seminars in Importing and Exporting: A series of 1-day, quarterly seminars focused on the basics of Importing will be offered starting in February 2006. Each seminar will last one day and will cover various topics of interest in this area.  Taken as a series, these seminars provide a solid understanding of the skills required by importers.  A similar series focused on exporting will begin later in the year.  To learn more about these seminars, access » Learn more about these seminars

Networking Sessions and Industry Updates:  Project EAGLE is a sponsor of the Columbus Chapter of Delta Nu Alpha (DNA). DNA is a national logistics fraternity focused on providing its members the information they need to stay current in the field.  Quarterly meetings are held on the Columbus State main campus and feature well-known speakers on various topics of interest.  The meetings are free and are a great opportunity to network with industry professionals.
Check the calendar for the latest speaker and topic and access to find archives of past speeches and presentations.
