Parking at Columbus State
There's room for everyone ... really
Parking Tip of the Day
Update: Through October 16, Parking Lot 2E behind Delaware Hall will be open for student and employee parking. About 90 additional spaces at Fort Hayes are also open now for use as overflow parking for employees and students.
Columbus State's slogan is "Where the World Is Going" -- and it can feel that way when you're looking for a parking space at 11 a.m. on a Tuesday. But these tips can help make sure you get to class on time.
First thing to remember: Get here early, and be prepared to park in one of the outer lots. The 28-S lot in particular is seldom crowded.
Second, be aware of peak times. Parking is tightest from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., so try to schedule classes around those times.
Third, there are lots of opportunities to avoid driving to campus. Columbus State is Ohio's largest provider of distance learning courses, and we do our best to support motorcycles, bicycles, carpoolers and COTA riders. Try a course at one of our Off-Campus Centers -- most of them offer free parking.
