Steph Eldridge
Stephanie received her certificate in massage therapy from
Columbus State Community College winter quarter of 2001. She graduated
with an Associates Degree of Massage Therapy spring quarter of 2001. The
Ohio State Medical Board licensed her in massage therapy in July of
2001. Stephanie was certified in myofascial release techniques in
December of 2001.
Stephanie has been working at Columbus State Community College in the
Massage Therapy department since fall quarter of 2001. She teaches
Massage techniques II and I.
Stephanie is currently in the Nursing program at Columbus State
Community College.
Stephanie resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, Dave, and her
daughter, Isa.

Rick Greely has been a licensed massage therapist in the state
of Ohio since 1987 and is currently an Assistant Professor at Columbus
State Community College. Since becoming licensed Rick has spent much of
his time working in the Sports Massage arena. He was the first foreigner
permitted to study at the China Olympic Training Center in Beijing,
Peoples Republic of China. He has worked with numerous athletic teams
including the ABL Columbus Quest (World Champions), The Ohio State
University Sychronized Swimming Team (National Champions), the Columbus
Clippers, U.S.A. Duathlon Team 1991 World Championships in Frankfurt,
Germany, and a variety of amateur and professional athletes in many
different sports.
Rick’s massage experience includes having worked in a variety of
settings from tanning and hair salons to physicians offices and an out
patient orthopedic rehabilitation center. Rick also had a private
practice for most of the 10 years he practiced prior to starting at
Columbus State.
Rick has also been involved in the massage profession by having served
as the America Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), Ohio Chapter
president, and currently serves on the State Medical Board of Ohio’s,
Massage Therapy Advisory Committee.

Morgan Jones, Jr., A.A.S, L.M.T.
Morgan Jones is a graduate of Columbus State Community College,
receiving a degree in Massage Therapy and Sport and Fitness Management.
He received a license to practice massage from the State Medical Board
of Ohio in 1999 and has maintained a successful ongoing practice since
then. To further enhance his massage treatments, including Swedish
massage, Morgan has taken classes in neuromuscular release, sports
massage, and myofascial cranial therapy. Morgan has been an adjunct
faculty member in the Massage Therapy Program since 1999. “Helping
others is best done by helping yourself by learning and experiencing as
much about your profession as you can and pass on that experience to
others.”

Len Montavon, M.A., L.M.T., S.M.T.
Len has twenty-two years of
teaching experience. For thirteen years she instructed the basic
massage course in Ohio Medical Board approved massage schools, has
fourteen years experience teaching an advanced course in trigger point
therapy and cross-fiber frictions, and has taught Sports massage
seminars as well. She holds national certification in both massage
and sports massage. Len attended the 1990 Goodwill Games and the
1996 Olympics as a sports massage therapist for the athletes.
Len is past president,
co-founder and curriculum director of her former business, Optissage,
Inc., 1992, which was a program designed to teach people how to massage
animals. She is the senior author of the course manuals that were
written for the animal programs. For the past six years, Len has
been teaching the Optissage method of blending Swedish and Sports
Massage techniques into a unique choreography that would best benefit
the animal client. Massage therapists, bodyworkers and animal
professionals worldwide have attended the animal programs.
Prior to the Optissage business, Len worked at Denison University for
five years as an athletic trainer caring for athletes in all
disciplines. She has been practicing massage therapy for humans,
fifteen years and for animals, ten years. She is licensed in Ohio
and is an AMTA member. Her animal clientele has included horses In
dressage, 3-Day eventing and horses with case histories of tendon
problems, canines with hind leg and hip problems, and cats with back and
hind leg problems.
Her credentials include
a B.S. in education from Ohio University and an M.A. in sports medicine
from Kent State University. As an instructor, Len is knowledgeable
and brings practical experience to the classroom in both human and
animal massage therapy.

Antoinette came to the Massage Therapy program
after serving in the Biological and Physical Sciences Department for one
quarter. Antoinette came to Columbus State in the summer of 2003,
from Valencia Community College in Orlando, Florida were she served as a
full-time faculty for two years in the Biology Department as an Anatomy
and Physiology instructor. During that time, Antoinette served on
the Florida Association of Community Colleges, the Valencia Community
College Faculty Association, as a club sponsor and mentor for the
Sisters Minority Mentoring Group, as well as volunteering countless
hours to Habitat for Humanity, and the Diabetes Association of America.
For her exemplary dedication to teaching her students Antoinette
received the honor of Professor of the Year for Valencia Community
College 2002-2003 academic year.
Prior to her time at Valencia Community College
Antoinette served two years teaching Anatomy and Physiology at Florida
College of Natural Health in Orlando, Florida in the Massage Therapy
Program. While at Florida College she created a national review
board class and manual, which received statewide recognition, while
aiding many students with the knowledge needed to receive state and
national massage therapy licensure. Antoinette’s’ calling to
teaching came when she received a teaching assistantship from the
Department of Physiology at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana
while receiving her Master’s Degree in Physiology. Antoinette
taught at Ball State university for two years while also receiving the
honor of being selected to the Who’ Who Among Students in American
Colleges and Universities and also receiving the honor of distinguished
graduates by the President of Ball State University.
In her spare time Antoinette enjoys spending time
with her husband and children, volunteering at her church, and just
enjoying being alive.

Natalie Stocker, B.A., L.M.T.
Natalie has
been a member of the Massage Therapy faculty since spring of 2002.
She has co-instructed with the Massage Techniques and Practicum classes.
She has also taken part in the Student Massage Therapy Clinic as a
Clinic Supervisor. In 2001, Natalie graduated Cum Laude from
Columbus State Community College with an Associate of Applied Science
degree in Massage Therapy. She became a Licensed Massage Therapist
in January 2002. Natalie’s educational background also includes a
Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998 from Otterbein College, where she
majored in Sports Medicine and minored in Sports Management and
Wellness. She currently practices massage for a Chiropractor in
the Reynoldsburg area.

Stan Williams
Stan Williams began teaching in the Massage Therapy Program in
the spring of 2000. Currently, he is the primary instructor for the
Program’s business course (MASS 224) which he developed for CSCC. He
also coordinates the Massage Therapy Student Clinic as well as handles
the enrollment process for prospective students. Stan graduated from
Franklin University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration and has an extensive background in business
management. He received his Massage Therapy Certificate from Columbus
State in September 1999 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in
January 2000.
