Columbus State Community College, like other public colleges and universities in Ohio, is switching from quarters to semesters effective Autumn 2012. This move will align our academic calendar with that of 90 percent of the colleges and universities in the U.S. and make the transferring of students and academic credits between institutions even easier.

Columbus State began work on the conversion in the fall of 2009. Since then, an incredible amount of behind the scenes work has been and is being completed in preparation for the Switch2Semesters. The college will release pertinent information to the public as the transition process unfolds.
