Columbus State Community College, like many other colleges and universities in Ohio, switches to a semester-based academic calendar beginning with Autumn Semester 2012.
Because many semester courses earn fewer hours of credit, you'll likely have to schedule
more classes per semester to meet full-time status (minimum of 12 hours). Be aware,
though, that if you schedule just 12 hours each semester for four semesters, you probably
won't finish your degree studies in two years. Add a course or two to your schedule
each semester and you'll not only maintain full-time status, but you'll also finish
on time.
