Jacob Goodfleisch: Rehab to Valedictorian

When I was in high school, if someone would've told me that one day I'd go to college and graduate as valedictorian, I would've said, "No, you must have the wrong guy."

This five semester program prepares students to work in the human services professions including social work, mental health, addictions and developmental disabilities.  The curriculum provides students with classroom instruction and practical skills necessary to become effective helpers. The program stresses important knowledge, skills and characteristics graduates need to be effective helpers n this profession. Students participate in practicum experiences in a variety of human services settings.
