Columbus State goes tobacco free July 1. More.

All students interested in or enrolling in the college with an interest in the Mental Health, Addictions, Developmental Disabilities, Human Services and or Social Work are encouraged to take MHAD 1110: Careers in MH/AS/DD and/or begin taking the MHAD  Introductory courses (MHAD 1111, 1112, 1114 & 1115)

Students interested in the MHAD program can contact the Health & Human Services Advising Center located in Union Hall, Room 427.

Phone:  614-287-2779

Hours:  Monday, Tuesday & Thursday:  9:00 am-4:00pm

Wednesday:  9:00am to 6:30pm

Friday:  12:00pm-4:00pm

Students are assigned a MHAD advisor after program admission.  Since many of the MHAD courses are sequential and have limited offering, meeting with a program advisor, once assigned, is essential.

All students are encouraged to develop a graduation plan of study. Students who have been formally admitted may meet with their assigned MHAD program advisor to do this.
