Faculty
To see any faculty member, simply go to their office when they are in. You do not need to make an appointment, but you may have to wait if the instructor is with someone else.
Between academic terms, all faculty are not regularly available, and the department office is open fewer hours. Please phone or email the person you are seeking before coming in, in order to determine their availability.
Trying to contact us ?
We are the Mathematics Department; our classes have MATH or STAT in the section ID. Anything DEV ("Basic Math," "Pre-Algebra," etc.) is part of the Developmental Education dept. (287-5193; AQ 232.) Likewise, Accounting is its own department (287-5420; DE 259.) Please contact the correct department.
Our department is rather large. Most of the ~400 Math sections are taught by our ~140 adjuncts (part-time faculty), and these assignments are made during the end of the previous term. Before that point, Course Listings will indicate that a class is "Not Assigned." This means that we do not know yet who will be teaching it. If there is a pressing need for this information which is more than a personal preference for one instructor over another, contact the Chair of the Department.
Any faculty not on the office hours list will be adjunct faculty, and their availability is often limited by other commitments. You may email these instructors (using the college directory), or leave them a phone message (287-5377, followed by their 4-digit extension.) If adjuncts are in the office, they will be in DH 431.
