There are no separate applications to enter the EMT & Fire programs – you just need to apply to the college, complete health records paperwork and sign up for classes and attend a mandatory uniform fitting.
Also, for the EMT and Paramedic certification courses you must successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to your first day of class.
EMS and Fire classes fill up quickly once registration opens. Many students take general education requirements while waiting for an opportunity to schedule EMS and Fire classes.

Our Paramedic certification program requires a separate application. Also, you must successfully pass the HESI exam and successfully complete EMS 1002 - Paramedic Prep prior to the start of the Paramedic program.
