Designing a long-term vision for Columbus State to meet the life-long learning needs of its community

Columbus State has engaged NBBJ, a nationally-recognized planning and architectural firm to create the master plan.
NBBJ has a long history of planning and design work with colleges and universities including: The Ohio State University, Wright State, Kent State, Bowling Green, and Ohio University – to name a few, just in Ohio.
The NBBJ team will be led by Kim Way, principal in charge; Megha Sinha, project manager; and Ed Mickelson, campus landscape architect. The team will also include Lisa Macklin with Comprehensive Facilities Planning, Inc., in Columbus; Greg Shumate, an associate with DESMAN Associates, who will oversee our parking operations and planning; and Dan Biru, a Civil Engineer with Korda/Nemeth Engineering.
This team will be conducting focus groups, analyzing data, and helping us design the Columbus State Community College of the future.
