Do I have to fill out an application?

Everyone who applies for a position is required to create and application which includes certain information.  Any required information is denoted with an asterisk (*).

How do I complete the application process?  

To begin the application process, please select a user name and password that you will easily remember.  You should write down your user name and password.  You will need it to apply for other position or check the status of your application the next time you visit the site.

What information will I be asked to provide?

You will need to have your personal information such as name, address, phone number, etc.  You will also be asked to provide information about your education and previous employment, as well as contact information regarding your employment history and references.  You may also need to attach a resume and cover letter if required.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

Call Human Resources at 287-2408 and ask that your user name / password be reset.

I have tried to update my application in COOL but the system won’t let me.  Why?


Once you have applied for a position, the system prevents you from changing your responses to the questions associated with that posting.  You can update your application at any time; however, it must be done prior to applying for a position.

I can’t attach my resume or cover letter in COOL. What do I do?

If the system does not allow you to attach a resume or cover letter, it is possible that the posting has been created in such a way that it does not require a resume.

How do I check the status of my application?

Prospective Adjunct Faculty should call the hiring manager in the department to which they applied. (See Department Chair Directory). Applicants will receive an email indicating a position has been filled. If a posting is still online the college is still accepting applications.
