AQIP Action Projects
Action Projects for 2014
Early Alert, Institutional Reporting and Reverse Transfer are the three new Action Projects for 2014. The projects received accreditation committee and cabinet approval in August, and were recently posted on the Higher Learning Commission website.
The Title III program is funded through a five-year $2 million dollar federal grant. Early Alert is an AQIP Category 6 project - Supporting Institutional Operations.
Teddi Lewis-Hotopp, Director of Title III: Strengthening Institutions, manages the team.
is the next step "in delivering relevant, timely, and easily obtainable data to stakeholders at the college." Sometimes known as the "data warehouse,' this project will map out a new process for making institutional data available in a self-service model.
Heading the effort is Jennifer Anderson, Director of Institutional Effectiveness. Institutional Reporting is an AQIP Category 7 project – Measuring Effectiveness.
identifies former students who transferred prior to completing certificate or degree requirements, but now qualify for graduation based on coursework completed at their transfer institution. A year in the making, this project will improve internal processes and add new private partner institutions. To date, some 300 Columbus State students now count as graduates.
Reverse Transfer is a Category 9 project - BuildinCollaborative Relationships – and is part of Goal 2025, the national college completion effort.
