AQIP Action Projects

Action Projects for 2014/2015

Faculty Action Research, Generation One Trailblazers, and the Writing Center for Credit are the new AQIP action projects for 2014/2015. The three were selected by the cabinet. These are:
• Faculty Action Research – Category 1, Helping Students Learn.  This effort gauges Active and Collaborative Learning (ACL) in student outcomes. Leaders: Rich James, Ron Elizaga, Julie Cronk
• Generation One Trailblazers – Category 5, Knowledge Management and Resource Stewardship.  This is a faculty designed student support effort. Leaders: Traci Haynes, Ron Elizaga
• Writing Center for Credit - Category 2, Meeting Student and Other Key Stakeholder Needs.  Repeating ENGL 1100 students receive a helping hand. Leader: Deborah Bertsch

Action Projects are a key component of the college's AQIP accreditation pathway. Team leads will submit year end reports detailing the impact of their work.
