Make housework a workout

Did you know that vacuuming, carrying loads of laundry and scrubbing floors can be beneficial to your health? We often view these chores as a necessary evil, but now you can clean your house and get some physical activity at the same time. The next time you get ready to clean your house, arrange your cleaning activities so that you keep moving while cleaning. For example, instead of taking one trip to put away a large load of laundry, separate your laundry into smaller loads that will take multiple trips to put away. Also, vacuum and sweep vigorously so that you get your house clean while elevating your heart rate and getting a good workout.
