Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 10 from 3:30- 5:30 p.m. in the WD Conference Center Ballroom as we congratulate President Val Moeller on her upcoming retirement from Columbus State after 14 years leading the college. Please join us for this special moment to thank and congratulate our President for her many years of service!

PERFORMs review deadline is Friday
The deadline for all PERFORMs annual reviews to be submitted to administrators is Friday, June 4. If you have questions about your review, or the reviews of one of your employees, please contact your Human Resources Employment Representative at ext. 2408.

Deadline for Summer Quarter Fee Waivers is June 14
The deadline for Employee/Dependent Fee Waivers for Summer Quarter is Monday, June 14. A Request for Fee Waiver form must be turned into Human Resources by 4:30 p.m. on that date to guarantee that fee waivers will be processed before late fees are assessed.

You may also pay your fees and be reimbursed within 30 days from the start of the quarter by completing the Request for Fee Waiver form and submitting an official payment receipt to Human Resources by July 28. If you have any questions, please contact Susan Thompson at ext. 2406.


	There’s still time to ride the bus! We are still counting seats for the tour bus traveling to Delaware on June 28 for the Grand Opening of the Columbus State Delaware Campus. The bus will leave at 10:00 a.m. to deliver guest to the ceremony starting at 11 a.m. The bus will depart after the festivities around 2:00 p.m. Email to news@cscc.edu with the subject line: "Ride the bus" to reserve your seat! We won’t do a final count until next week.

Sounds good at the Southern Theatre!

The Columbus State music programs, including the Choir, the Concert Band and the Gospel Ensemble, performed their Spring Concert June 1 at the Southern Theatre. In this inspiring backdrop, the Concert Band, with soprano soloist Elizabeth Scinto, performs a number.

Don’t forget the Fest!
logo The Columbus Arts Festival will begin in the Discovery District on Thursday, June 3. The 12-S parking lot will be closed Thursday for festival set-up and used throughout the event until Sunday evening. The parking garage and the 11-S lot will be used for festival parking Friday through Sunday, charging $5, which goes in part to the Development Foundation for scholarship funds. No other Columbus State parking areas will be used for the festival. Some streets bordering the Arts Festival will close today for set up, including Gay St., Long St. Washington Ave., and Cleveland Ave. in the CCAD campus area. 	Reminder to apply for the Adjunct Faculty Advanced Learning Workshop The Instructional Technology and Distance Learning Department invites adjunct faculty to apply to the Eleventh Session of the Adjunct Faculty Advanced Learning Workshop for Summer Quarter 2010. It will be held on three Fridays: July 9, July 30, and August 20 from 7:45 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Center for Teaching & Learning Innovation at CT 107 and in the Workforce Development Center. The program is open to all adjunct faculty members who have a current or summer 2010 teaching assignment. Dr. Carol Himelhoch, an associate professor at Cleary College and a specialist in adjunct faculty development, will lead the workshop. Applications can be obtained from CT 107 or from your department chair. The application is also online here. The deadline to apply for the summer 2010 program is Friday, June 11. Please send all completed applications to Rosemary Mayberry in CT 107.
