Delaware Campus opens!

More than 400 people were on hand as Columbus State President Val Moeller officially opened the new Delaware Campus on Monday, June 28. The main building was named in her honor by the Board of Trustees, and Chairman of the Board Bill Dolan unveiled a plaque in the lobby after reading a resolution in Dr. Moeller’s honor. Eric Fingerhut, Chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents, was among the attendees who helped cut the ribbon at the conclusion of the ceremony. Tours and a luncheon outdoors followed, and the weather managed to cooperate for both! The college estimates upwards of 2,000 students will attend classes during the first academic year on the campus which begins this fall. A video of Monday’s highlights can be viewed here.

“Et al.” - a journal of excellence in writing across the curriculum
Et al. is a new journal that celebrates individual excellence in student writing while also acknowledging the "others" who contribute to that excellence—teachers, tutors, mentors, classmates.
The editors of Et al. are now seeking submissions for the inaugural issue of the journal. We're accepting submissions of student-written works created in response to any writing assignment given in any class at Columbus State.
