Columbus State is a place where you can drive in, take classes,
then get on with your busy life. But it's also a place where you can
get the full college experience.
Whether you’re an
aspiring student filmmaker, a
chef with a
competitive streak, or if you’ve always wanted to work with
gorillas in
Rwanda, Columbus State is the place for you.
Get involved.
Through our
Student Activities Department, you can take part in student
government, or watch out for the public interest on the school
newspaper. Join any of dozens of on-campus clubs, from the Math Club
to the African-American Woman’s Support Group to the TaeKwonDo Club.
Contribute to
Spring Street, our literary anthology, or visit our
Performing Arts Department
to get involved in theater, choir, dance or band.
Play hard.
Cheer on one of our award-winning sports teams – or try out
yourself. Or, our
Student Activities Department has, intramural
sports team, open gym
times and wellness programs such as yoga and Afro-Rhythms.
Hang out.
Grab a quick bite at the
cafeteria, then hit the books at the library. Relax or study in
one of the Nestor Hall lounges. And when it’s sunny out, there’s no
better place than the center of the college square.
Your time at Columbus State is what you make of it. Make sure you
make the most of it.
