Prospective Students...Direct From High SchoolGraduating soon? Columbus State is the perfect place to train for a career or start your college studies. At Columbus State you'll get a quality education a cost per credit hour that is by far the area’s lowest. Getting Started: Use the online Step by Step Enrollment Guide to find links to the application, financial aid, scholarships and more! Dates: Follow all the dates on the guide, but remember: Columbus State's deadlines are usually a little later than most colleges. Don't assume you've missed out, and remember we accept new students each quarter. You can get in: We don't use high school transcripts or ACT and SAT scores as a criteria for admission. We will need your final official high school transcripts for many programs and courses, though; so remember to send them in. If you're submitting AP scores, we'll need them directly from the College Board. If you have earned college credit at another college or university, make sure to have those transcripts sent to Columbus State, too. We can't take AP scores and college credit information off your high school transcript. Succeed: And to get the most out of your college experience, attend Getting Started Orientation and Post-COMPASS/CougarWeb Advising. Columbus State has resources to help you. Make use of advising resources, tutoring and courses like College Success Skills and Freshman Seminar.
