Columbus State is responsible for reporting to
campus significant criminal incidents on or near campus that may pose a
continuing threat to campus safety and security, in accordance to the
federal Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime
Statistics Act.

of Incident: 10-26-09
Time: Approximately 11:30 a.m. (2 incidents)
Description: Forcible Fondling
Detail: Victims were walking in the stairwell of the
Parking Garage and were approached by the suspect. The suspect
grabbed the victims on their buttocks and then fled into the garage.
Campus police searched the garage but were unable to find
the suspect. Additional leads are being investigated. If you have
any information that would be helpful to this continuing

Suspect: White male, 20 to 22 years old, dark hair,
light facial hair, wearing blue hoodie, khaki jacket, dark or black
sport pants .

Time: 3:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Description: Forcible Fondling
Detail: Both victims stated that they were
approached on the top level of the parking garage and were grabbed
by the buttocks. Both victims also reported that the suspect ran
away without any conversation. If you have any information please
contact the campus police at the CSCC Department of Public Safety at
614-287-2525, located in Delaware Hall 047.
Suspect: Male white, age early 20's,
approximately 5'8" to 5'10" , medium build, brown hair, wearing
black faded jeans and a tan jacket.

of Incident: 10-14-09
Time: 9:15 a.m.
Description: Robbery (Strong Arm).
Detail: Victim states they were approached at the
parking meters located on McCoy Street by Grant Avenue, by an
unknown male black. The suspect asked the victim for 50 cents for a
parking meter and when the victim removed their wallet to give the
suspect money, the suspect grabbed the victim's wallet and ran.
This incident occurred on the jurisdiction of the Columbus Police
Department, not on campus. It is being reported due to its close
proximity to the campus. If you have any information that would be

Suspect: Male black, 19-20 years old, about 6 feet 2
inches, 180 to 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Clean
shaven, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
