What is the Student Ambassador Leadership Program?
SALP is an elite group of students chosen to participate in a leadership enhancement program at the Columbus State Community College.

Program Benefits
Gain experience.
- Enhance your leadership abilities through the Student Ambassador Program in weekly leadership meetings.
- Increase your communication skills through leadership campus and community workshops.
- Participate in outreach programs that encompass community and campus events and interactions.
- Complete a minimum of 130 hours of service between Summer 08 and Spring 09 quarters earning a rate of $8.94 per hour

Ambassador Requirements
- Candidate must have at least two quarters of attendance before applying
- Student Ambassadors must be enrolled in at least one class for each quarter
- Candidates and student ambassadors must maintain a 2.7 GPA to remain in good standing with the program or forfeit the position
- Attend and participate in the required activities of:
- Weekly Training Sessions
- New Student Orientations
- Community Service Projects
- Leadership retreat and workshop
- Welcome Center Tours
- Student Activities and Student Ambassador Office Support
