BASIC ENGLISH COURSES
The courses in the Basic English as a Second Language program are designed to provide a foundation of spoken and written English. Courses are offered on an open-enrollment basis each quarter. They are also available by contract with businesses or organizations in central Ohio.

| Basic English 2 (LILNG-200) | 60 | Using present and past tenses, students will expand their abilities and knowledge in written and spoken vocabulary, questions and answers, and descriptions. | Basic English 3 (LILNG-300) | 60 | Basic English 3 is a course designed to improve vocabulary skills as well as reading comprehension and writing ability. | Basic English 4 (LILNG-400) | 60 | In Basic English 4, students will work to improve vocabulary, writing skills, grammar ability and reading comprehension. | Prerequisite: Placement into BE4 or successful completion of BE3. | $165.00 |
