Registering For Services
Any otherwise qualified student or
prospective student who states that he or she has a disability as
defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) or the
guidelines for Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act may
register with the department. The college's Placement Test
(COMPASS or ASSET) will be administered with accommodations as requested
by the prospective student.
To register for department services a
student or prospective student must meet with a counselor for an Intake
interview (Application for Services). The counselor will be available
for walk in hours and scheduled appointments.
Walk in Appointments: Monday and
Wednesday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Scheduled Appointments only: Tuesday and
Thursday. Please call 287-2570 to schedule for an appointment with one
of our Disability Services counselors.
