SAF114 - Enforcement Expo Aircraft Assault Overview (August 12 PM)
Designed for Law Enforcement Tactical Team operators and other interested sworn Law Enforcement Officers, this 4 hour presentation is an overview drawn from the 5 day Tubular Assault Class and will afford the participant an opportunity to experience assaulting a live passenger configured aircraft.
Using Columbus State Community College's Boeing 727, students will be given basic information on aircraft assault and then participate in team training, making basic entry into the craft. During final simulation runs, the aircraft will be under power (APU) to provide the realism of working around a live plane, with all the blast and noise that such an environment provides.

SAF114 - Tubular Assault- Bus, Train & Aircraft (October 2008)
This class provides the opportunity for tactical operations personnel to develop their skills using the live platforms of bus, train and aircraft. Even if your agency doesn't have an airport in its jurisdictions, your skill set training foundations will be built upon using advanced firearms training, close quarter battle defensive tactics, and tubular assault tactics that work in terms of continuity on all platforms utilized and even in tight spaces like narrow school hallways. Students will receive information on the operational systems of school and passenger buses, AMTRAK passenger train systems (the basics of which can also be applied to light rail, subway or commuter systems), light/regional aircraft such as Lear/Citation jets and piston engine craft (with a view for drug courier intervention) and our Boeing 727 Passenger Jet. The aircraft are all maintained in operational condition by CSCC Aviation Maintenance Program.

SAF119 - Tactical Clan Lab Detection, Entry, Operation and Emergency Action
Designed for Narcotics Investigators and SWAT Operators, this 5 day class will certify the participant in Tactical Detection and Emergency Operations in and around clandestine drug labs. It does NOT certify the participant to dismantle labs or as an operator in confined space labs situations.
Participants will undergo training in lab and grow dangers and hazards, including intensive live fire training while wearing PPE gear in order to develop their skills shooting in and around drug lab operations. Live fire tactics will also help better prepare participants for encounters with heavily armed individuals in tight and cluttered quarters. Specially tailored training in defensive tactics in CQB situations and spaces will also be taught. The course will culminate in dynamic role playing situations in mock labs utilizing airsoft weapons. 5.11 Tactical and Lion Apparel will be providing some of the latest in protective gear for operators to try out in training scenarios.

SAF126 - School Bus Assault-Patrol Response Techniques (Wednesday, July 9, 2008)
While most of our public schools have been "target hardened" to some degree, our school buses remain vulnerable to attack from the lone unstable gunman or terrorist hostage takers. In the event that a SWAT response is not available, and lives are in danger of immediate loss, police patrol officers need to learn the techniques that SWAT team operators use to regain control of a school bus in a hostage taking situation, using the tools and equipment they have at hand in their patrol vehicles. Taught by CTTU staff instructors, this one day class will provide the trainee with techniques for dynamic entry on this platform through the use of static and dynamic training methods, including the use of airsoft weapons system (M-4's and handguns) and live role players. Techniques are also applicable to public transit platforms.
Cost: $100.00

727 CTTU not only put on a highly informative
course, but also a course that was realistic and
tailored to potentially very high risk situations
that are likely to occur within the United States in
the near future. Having officers trained in the
proper handling of these situations not only can
lower a departments liability but more importantly
allows officers to save the lives of innocent
people. I highly recommend this course to other
officer across the United States."
Trooper Bret Brooks, Missouri State Highway Patrol
"I wanted to personally thank you and your
cadre for the excellent training that you all
provided in the arena of advanced tubular assault.
Officer Curtis Hall and I enjoyed every aspect of
the training and enjoyed all of your staff. They
were courteous and competent in their respective
fields and downright entertaining most of the time."
