OTHER PROGRAMS


Apart from our Academic Enrichment GED, Language, and Orientation to Trades and Apprenticeship programs, the Skill Development Department at Columbus State Community College, offers other proigrams to help you build a better life. Two of these include our ESL Afterschool Communities Program and the Somali Smokeout Program.


ESL Afterschool Communities

This program offers community-based, comprehensive afterschool programming to immigrant and refugee families within Franklin County. It operates out of three housing complexes in Columbus.

Somali Smokeout

This program educates Somali immigrant youth on the dangers of smoking. It also helps Somali adults quit smoking.
